Who We Are
Plastic Reborn is a documentary directed by Carlo Mameli, filmmaker and founder of CM Video Agency in Italy. With over 30 years of experience in visual storytelling, Carlo has created documentaries and corporate films for multinational companies, research centers, and international organizations. His clients include Leonardo, GSK, Danieli Group, as well as leading research institutions such as CIRA and the Bruno Kessler Foundation.
A Storytelling Journey
Over the years, Carlo’s work has focused on exploring themes of technology, research, and sustainability. His documentaries on environmental conservation, aquaculture, and certified seafood production have been produced in collaboration with Earth Island Institute and the World Sustainability Organization. Some of his works have been distributed on Amazon Prime Video and aired on British local television.
The Project
With Plastic Reborn, Carlo and his team shed light on one of the most urgent global challenges: plastic pollution. The documentary follows the journey of plastic waste — from innovative river-cleaning technologies to advanced recycling solutions — showing how plastic can be transformed and given a second life.
